FilmSpot App
FilmSpot is an application that was developed by Maia Pineiro during a User Experience Design Course at General Assembly in San Francisco. This is a solution to the common problem users of movie streaming sites face far too often; endlessly scrolling through irrelevant movie options and having too difficult of a time finding relevant movies to watch. The presentation displayed on this page depicts the process I underwent to solve this problem.

First, the research included an in-depth competitive analysis, as well as interviews, and persona development. Here, the target audience was defined as well as the problem, hypothesis, and project proposal.
Using different feature prioritization techniques, the proposed features were categorized and once the end product was better defined, a user flow and site map were developed.
Sketches and initial wireframes lead to usability testing, this dictated what was working well and what was not. Revised wireframes followed.
